Data Storage Policy

We're transparent about exactly what data StatementIQ stores, where it lives, and for how long.
Bank statements
Never stored. PDFs are parsed locally in your browser — the file bytes never leave your device.
Account data
Email, hashed password, and billing metadata are stored on encrypted servers in the EU.
Analytics
Anonymous, aggregate usage events (e.g. 'CSV export clicked') are retained for 90 days then purged.
Backups
Account databases are backed up daily and retained for 30 days. Backups are encrypted at rest.
Deletion
On account deletion, all personal data is removed within 7 days. Backups containing the data expire on the normal 30-day cycle.
